Interestingly after being told that there is a 1 to 2 year wait on an allocation for any Carrera I was contacted last week that I could have an allocation that I could order to my spec for a base Carrera or an S, which I thought was interesting.

It is certainly a regular GT4, that's the regular wing, bumper, side scoops, those are all factory stock. The rear bumper gets switched at some point but we don't know why and the exhaust does sound more aggressive than some of the other stock videos I've seen so it lends credence to it being an aftermarket exhaust.Yeah, getting out of a Golf R and into the Porsche market would be a classic "out of the frying pan, into the fire" kind of move. Porsche GT market is insane, especially for 997 and 991.2 Touring models. GT4's do OK, but they don't have the same "mania" that the GT3's do.
